- Czech law in Dutch (and English)
The Czech Trade Register – Obchodni RejstrikOf course a Trade Register exists in the Czech Republic, just like in almost any other country.
The system, however, might be slightly different from that in your home country. Often traderegisters are managed by the Chambres of Commerce. In the Czech Republic the Traderegister is held by the regional courts.
The good news is, that all information regarding Czech companies in the traderegister is free of charge. The disadvantage is that the website and extracts are only available in the Czech language.
As Czech legal professionals, we can provide you with a Czech extract and a reliable translation to English (or German, or Dutch). Please contact us and describe your wishes. We will make you a fair offer.
From time to time, new rules and regulations are implemented. For instance registering the Ultimate Beneficial Owners of each company in the Czech UBO-register is now obliged, from 1.6.2021 high fines can be given when firms are non-compliant. Also shareholders decisions and/or shareholder meetings can be considered null or void.
Of course we are also available for other remarks or questions:
